The Master Data Management Cockpit can hold two data models at the same time in the local LiveCache, e.g. from two systems or two clients or two plants. These data can be compared for consolidation or even mixed for merging.

When merging two companies, data from different sources (two mySAP ERP systems) must be merged as well. The Master Data Management Cockpit supports that business process with merging and simulation features. They can show how data from the one system would act in the other without having already to copy them for real. The possible objectives are compare data, consolidate data and migrate data with the help of the cockpits standard functions like sort, filter, focus etc. The cockpit also supports distributed master data maintenance and workflow managment.

System Comparison and Maintenance in Excel

A browser blue print in MS Excel can be used for data comparison between two data sources. The field color indicates differences between data objects with corresponding keys. Modification can be done directly within MS Excel with impact to the connected SAP R/3 system.
